Influencer conversions are a crucial metric for assessing the success of your referral campaigns in ICS. However, there are times when you may need to cancel one or more conversions. Situations like suspected fraudulent activity, or the cancellation or refund of the associated order, often necessitate this action. This guide will walk you through the process of cancelling conversions to ensure the integrity of your campaigns.

Steps to Cancel a Conversion

  1. Login to the Admin Dashboard: Open your ICS admin dashboard and login
  2. Navigate to Campaigns: On the sidebar menu, click on the "Campaigns" menu item
  3. Select the Appropriate Campaign: On the list of campaigns, find the campaign that has the conversion you wish to cancel
  4. Access the Reports Section: Within the selected campaign, find the "Reports" tab and locate the table labeled "Influencers"
  5. Select the Influencer: From the "Influencers" table, click on the influencer associated with the conversion(s) you want to delete
  6. Find conversions on the Influencer Details modal: A modal will pop up with that influencer's info, scroll a bit to find the "Conversions" section and click "Manage"
  7. Choose the Conversion(s): Tick the checkbox next to one or more conversions that you want to cancel.
  8. Cancel the Conversion: Click the "Cancel Conversions" button. A prompt will appear. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the cancellation.

Things to Consider

  • Once canceled, conversions cannot be restored
  • Canceled conversions will not count towards an influencer's campaign goal
  • Canceled conversions will still appear in the "Conversions Report," but will be tagged as "Canceled."
  • The influencer will receive an email notification stating that the conversion has been canceled and will not count toward their goal

Canceling conversions is a necessary function for ICS admins who need to maintain the integrity of their campaigns. Whether it's due to fraudulent activity or other issues like canceled orders, knowing how to perform this action can be crucial.

Remember, it's always better to be cautious and take action than let problematic conversions impact your campaign's performance.
